About the Opportunity

CMR is proud to be partnering exclusively with The Banyans to recruit an exceptional Director of Nursing.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced senior nurse who is ready to take the next step into executive nursing leadership. Rather than managing large teams and complex hospital systems, you'll lead a close-knit nursing team within a premium, boutique treatment service renowned for delivering world-class care to professionals and high-profile individuals.

Working alongside the Clinical Director, Operations Manager and multidisciplinary clinical team, you'll lead nursing services across two residential facilities and an inner-city day program. You'll remain connected to clinical care, play an active role in guest admissions and assessments, oversee clinical governance and NSQHS accreditation, and mentor a passionate nursing team in an environment where quality of care always comes first.

Skills and Experience

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Significant senior nursing leadership experience as a Clinical Nurse Consultant, Nurse Unit Manager or similar.
• Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring and developing clinical teams.
• Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality improvement and patient safety principles.
• Experience within private healthcare or other patient-centred healthcare environments will be highly regarded.
• Experience in mental health, addiction or other behavioural health settings will be highly regarded.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with patients, families and multidisciplinary teams.
• A collaborative leadership style with a passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
